Gay Men Clothing Optional Weekend at
Thunderbird Lodge

Limited to 30 guests

First come - First served

This is a gay men's sleepover weekend event, clothing-optional with your hosts, Paul Adam and David Worrall, at their newly renovated Thunderbird Lodge in the Haliburton Highlands.

You are most welcome to come and spend the weekend with us at Thunderbird Lodge.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided, desserts as well!  Please bring any chips, munchies or specialized food necessities you would like to have for yourselves and any soft drinks (mix) and BYOB.

We have 6 Kayaks, 4 standup paddle-boards, a canoe and a paddle boat to enjoy. In addition, there is swimming off the dock, as well as a spot to wander in and hang out if you prefer a walk in spot to stand up in the lake. We also have lounge chairs for sunning and chairs and tables to get out of the sun if you prefer. During the day we have a hammock area, games on the upper lawn, picnic tables to play cards, or just sit and enjoy the weather.  There are lots of trails to walk as well if you’re feeling adventurous, or the Boat house for a quick workout.  There really is something for everyone, whether you’re feeling quiet, social or something in between!

We will be having a bonfire in the evenings, weather permitting,  we will supply the S’more fixings, and there is a hot tub and of course our large luxurious outdoor showers to enjoy as well.

Etiquette Guidelines

Here are a few guidelines to make your stay as stress-free as possible:

  • Keep your towel handy. Please place your towel down on any surface you wish to sit on if enjoying some naked time here at the Lodge either in your room, in the main House or outdoors

  • As we are located on a Lake, with local boat traffic and others enjoying the weather from their boats & docks, during daylight hours, please ensure you cover yourselves as appropriate out of respect for our neighbours when they are out on the water or on their dock. Completely nude sunbathing is available on the upper lawn and patio area with comfortable lounge chairs

  • Your hosts have the responsibility to ensure everyone's safety and comfort while you are at our private residence. Please behave appropriately during your stay. Behaviour and actions deemed to be inappropriate will be immediately brought to your attention for correction. If inappropriate behaviour continues after being spoken to, you and your party will be asked to leave the property.

  • Joking and good clean fun are encouraged,  but Insults or abusive or derogatory language toward any other person will not be tolerated. We promote an inclusive environment!

  • Everyone enjoys the natural scenery as well as the handsome men, but please keep your gaze respectful and fleeting, not awkward.

  • During your stay there might be a connection or two you might want to explore but of course No means No - be respectful and courteous to your fellow attendees. It is easy to just say a polite no thank you handsome! Let’s all keep on our best behaviour so that we are all treated like the Kings we are!

  • Use of Cell phones and cameras are permitted on the property. Pictures of others must be with consent. We aim to provide a private and safe environment for everyone. Please don’t hashtag our lodge on your Social media…We want to make sure we will have enough room for you at our next event!!

  • Adults Only! Especially for this weekend!   Leave the kids at home!  We are a child and fur baby free zone… No pets are allowed in the rooms or on-premises

  • Please be respectful of the local environment and the property itself. We have garbage and recycling available all around the property. Please make sure to use them!  This includes cigarette butts for those that smoke.

  • It is understood that some individuals may choose to engage in solo, partner, or group sexual activities during this event. Simple courtesies apply to ensure everyone can enjoy the weekend:

    • Please respect other attendees

    • Don't get wasted

    • Feel free to decline propositions with a smile / not sarcasm!

    • Communicate your boundaries before you hook up - and ask about theirs

    • Advocate for yourself

    • Practice safer sex.

  • Thunderbird maintains all wastewater disposal onsite in our septic system - no products other than biological waste can be flushed down the toilets or drains. Also please don’t pee or douche in the outdoor showers.  We use the grey water to water the plants and it will kill them!

  • Please bring your own lube, condoms, toys, etc., as your hosts will not provide these items. If using silicone based lube please ask which blanket to put down as the silicone lube will not come out of the sheets. You will be charged for a new set of sheets if stains won’t come out of them.

  • Please treat our resort with respect as you will be held responsible for any damage to the property, premises and /or personal belongings. We have many personal belongings in the cottage available to be borrowed, but we all lose when someone takes advantage.

  • Keep all garbage cleaned up, as not to attract animals. We will collect garbage in the evenings if necessary

  • Only registered guests. Anyone arriving or bringing anyone else who is not registered will be asked to leave.  Feel free to bring your friends next time we have an event and let us know they want to come so that we can have appropriate space for them.

We are looking forward to meeting and seeing you at Thunderbird, and please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have regarding the weekend event.
