ABOUT

ABOUT THUNDERBIRD

Our specialty is creating a unique location for private events and retreats of all types.

If you are looking for a venue for boutique weddings, conferences, yoga retreats, family reunions, guys weekends, girls weekends, or a spa weekend.

The possibilities are as limitless as your imagination.

Over time, the property has had many iterations. The Thunderbird property opened in 1950 as a children's camp to get kids out of the city and head north to the Haliburton Highlands, to enjoy the outdoors during the summer months.  We have enjoyed the space for 20 years, but three years ago, we decided to gut and renovate the entire place. It is now a beautiful 4 acre, private waterfront residence, owned by your hosts, Paul and David. Recently we decided to share this unique and beautiful property with others by holding exclusive and private events.
